Abel Tasman Anchorage to Bark Bay

Trail description

An 8.8 km walk with about 300 m of climbing on the Abel Tasman Coast Track from Anchorage past Torrent Bay to Bark Bay, in Abel Tasman National Park. The stretch between Torrent Bay and Bark Bay is one of the most popular for walkers with limited time, with some steep paths, views over both bays and a 47 m swing bridge over the Falls River. The whole coast track runs 60 km from Mārahau in the south to Wainui in the north, and Anchorage and Bark Bay are two of the places where huts divide it into sections.
