Trail description

A flat 3.8 km loop through the heath and fens of Huis ter Heide between Tilburg and Loon op Zand, past the Plakkeven and Leikeven viewpoints, the Galgenven, the Vlindervennen and 't Blauwe Meer. The estate of about 1,100 ha, run by Natuurmonumenten, has woods and heath in the north and fens and grassland in the south, the Loonse Heide. The aim is to bring back the open wet heath the area had around 1940.
