Tserko Ri from Kyanjin Gompa

Trail description

Tserko (Tsergo) Ri, about 5000 m, is the high viewpoint above Kyanjin Gompa at the head of the Langtang valley. The ascent takes up to 6 to 7 hours and the descent 3 to 4 hours, on a rough trail with strong wind and no drinking water; it can be fully covered in snow in winter. The whole route is far above 3500 m and needs acclimatisation.
