On the Mardi Himal trek above Pokhara, lodges go up to High Camp at about 3550 m, and the trail then climbs a ridge towards Mardi Himal Base Camp at about 4500 m below Machhapuchhre. This day section from High Camp ends at the lower base camp viewpoint and stays above 3500 m throughout.
