Trail description

Gokyo Ri (5357 m) rises above Gokyo village (about 4750 m) on the shore of the Gokyo lakes in the Khumbu. The summit is about a 3 hour hike up from the village, climbing some 600 m at very high altitude, well above 3500 m, so acclimatisation is essential.
