Trail description

The first day of the classic Talassemtane National Park trek leaves Chefchaouen near the campsite on a 4WD track, climbs over the ridge behind the town to about 1,800 m and drops to the gite in the village of Azilane, about 14 km in all according to Wikivoyage. Most hikers continue the next day to Akchour.
