Trail description
A coastal walk on the northwest tip of Africa where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean at Cap Spartel near Tangier. From the viewpoint by the old lighthouse the route follows the quiet coast road above the cliffs and beaches to the Caves of Hercules, whose sea window is shaped like the map of Africa. About 4.2 km one way, on tarmac all the way.
