Trail description

From the hut and campsite at heart-shaped Trnovacko Jezero, a marked mountain path climbs south through the valley below the Volujak ridge to its highest summit (2336 m), which sits on the Montenegro and Bosnia border. The route is about 3.5 km one way with some 800 m of steep ascent over grass and rock, with no cables or scrambling. From the top there are views over Trnovacko lake, Maglic, Bioc and the Piva plateau. Best from mid June to mid October; carry water as the upper slopes are dry.
