Trail description

This climb starts at the Savin Kuk ski centre a few kilometres south-west of Zabljak and follows a wide zig-zag track up the ski slopes, then a narrower rocky path past the Savina Voda spring to the 2,313 m summit. From the top you look over Black Lake, Medjed and the jagged Durmitor peaks around Bobotov Kuk. It is about 4 km each way with close to 800 m of ascent, so allow around 3 to 4 hours up, less if you ride the summer chairlift part of the way. The loose gravel calls for sure footing. Best from late June to September.
