Jelovacka Pecina Cave via Zminje Jezero from Bosaca

Trail description

A forest walk from the hamlet of Bosaca on the edge of Zabljak, past the quiet Zminje Jezero (Snake Lake) and on to the Jelovacka Pecina cave. The first part is almost flat through old spruce and fir forest to the lake, after which the path climbs gently towards the foot of the Durmitor cliffs. The cave has stalagmites and is home to bats. It is about 4 km one way with little climbing; bring a headlamp if you want to look inside the entrance.
