Jablanov Vrh Summit from Lipovo (Sinjajevina)

Trail description

A marked climb to Jablanov Vrh (2203 m), whose broad grassy top is rated the finest viewpoint over the huge Sinjajevina plateau. From the Ropusica spring below the Vratlo pass, the path cuts up old shepherd shortcuts to the pass, follows a gravel track past the Smrdan hollow to the Grkovo pastures and its small reservoir, then climbs the easy, safe final slope. Allow about 3.5 hours for roughly 9 km and 850 m of ascent each way, with water along the route; summer and autumn are the best seasons. From Kolasin, drive about 2 km towards Mojkovac, turn left at Bakovici onto the paved road to Lipovo and continue to the sharp bend at the foot of the Vratlo pass, about 16 km in total.
