Trail description
A short, gently climbing path through pine forest leads from the Momcilov Grad restaurant above Bosaca to Jablan Jezero, a small glacial lake at 1,791 m sitting in a natural amphitheatre under the red cliffs of Crvena Greda. From the shore there are views towards Meded, Savin Kuk and the high Durmitor peaks, and the area is much quieter than nearby Crno Jezero (Black Lake). It is about 2.3 km one way, well under an hour each way, and suitable for families. Water levels are highest in spring and early summer and drop by late summer, so June to September is the best time to go. Drive or walk from Zabljak to Momcilov Grad on the Stuoc panoramic road, where the path starts.
