Ilijino Brdo Summit from Kumbor (Herceg Novi)

Trail description

A steady climb from the seaside village of Kumbor on the Bay of Kotor to Ilijino Brdo, a 580 m hill with an old cemetery on top. Gravel lanes and footpaths zigzag up through olive groves, macchia and oak forest, with several open balconies looking over the Bay of Tivat and the Verige strait. The ascent is about 3.5 km one way with roughly 575 m of climbing, and the return can use red-marked paths past the small chapel of Sveti Stefan. Kumbor is on the Herceg Novi to Kotor bus line.
