Ahmica Summit from Stedim Mountain Hut (Hajla)

Trail description

A medium-grade hike to Ahmica (2272 m), the second main summit of the Hajla massif. It starts from the Stedim mountain hut at 1742 m, at the end of the asphalt road from Rozaje. The path crosses high pastures by the Glodjanski shepherd huts and climbs about 530 m in 2.7 km to a broad, safe summit with a stone cairn. From the top you see Hajla, Zljeb, Rusolija and the Rugova side of Prokletije. There are three springs on or near the route, and you should keep back from the drop-off west of the summit.
