Uxmal

Trail description

A 1 km walk with about 35 m of climbing through Uxmal, past the Pyramid of the Magician, the Nunnery Quadrangle, the House of the Turtles and the Governor's Palace to El Palomar. Uxmal is a Classic-period Maya city in the Puuc region of the western Yucatán and one of the most important Maya sites. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the nearby ruins of Kabah, Sayil and Labna.
