Trail description
A nearly flat 1.2 km walk through the Maya ruins of Sayil, from the Templo de las Columnas past the Mirador and Stela 9 toward the Templo de los Dinteles and the south group, passing about 190 m from the Great Palace. Sayil was a Puuc city of the Terminal Classic period that reached its greatest extent around 900 AD with about 10,000 people. With Kabah and Labna it was listed together with Uxmal as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996.
