Trail description
A flat 1 km seafront walk along the malecón of Puerto Vallarta, from the Río Cuale past the Plaza de Armas, Los Arcos and the city letters to the Papantla flyers. The malecón began in 1936 as a breakwater named Paseo de la Revolución and today runs about 1.2 km along the bay. Its bronze sculpture collection was started in 1976, and the Los Arcos arches are a replica of originals damaged by Hurricane Kenna in 2002.
