Jardín Botánico Clavijero

Trail description

A 3 km walk with about 20 m of climbing from the Francisco Javier Clavijero botanical garden near Xalapa, across the Río Sordo and past the Bosque Briones park to Colonia Plan de la Cruz. The garden covers 38 ha, 30 of them preserved forest on an old coffee plantation and 8 of botanical displays. It is run by the state government, the municipality and the Instituto de Ecología.
