Trail description
A 5 km forest walk with about 165 m of climbing and 140 m of descent in the Desierto de los Leones National Park, passing about 110 m from the ruins of a hermitage. The park lies entirely within Mexico City in the Sierra de las Cruces, between Cuajimalpa and Álvaro Obregón, and covers 1,867 ha. 'Desierto' is used in the old sense of a wild, sparsely populated place, not an arid one.
