Chipinque

Trail description

A 1.9 km climb of about 150 m in Chipinque Ecological Park above Monterrey, past the La Peñita viewpoint and the Meseta de Chipinque, then up the Vereda La Manzanita to about 1,400 m. The park is a reserve of about 1,791 ha in the Sierra Madre Oriental, inside the Cumbres de Monterrey National Park and about 12 km from downtown Monterrey. Black bears, pumas, coyotes and grey foxes live there.
