Trail description
A short 0.8 km climb of about 30 m from the edge of Coatepec past the Cerro de las Culebras and Pájaros Luises viewpoints to the top of the hill. The Cerro de las Culebras is a small volcanic cone at about 1,325 m with a 48 ha reserve of cloud forest, declared a protected natural area in 1992. More than 60 resident and about 46 migratory bird species have been recorded there, and the viewpoint looks over the whole town.
