Trail description
A flat 1.3 km walk through the Cerro de las Campanas park in Querétaro, near the chapel to Maximilian and the Benito Juárez monument, on to the university centre. The hill and national park is where Emperor Maximilian I and the generals Miramón and Mejía were executed, ending the Second Mexican Empire. Its name, 'hill of the bells', comes from rocks that ring when struck.
