Cascada Micos

Trail description

A nearly flat 1.2 km riverside path past the Micos waterfalls in the Huasteca Potosina, about 40 minutes from Ciudad Valles. The falls are a stepped series on the El Salto river, whose minerals give the pools an intense blue colour. Seven of the drops, from about 2 to 9 m, are jumped on guided trips; the water is clearest from November to March, outside the rainy season.
