Trail description
A 1.4 km climb of about 175 m from the Salto del Nogal viewpoint past a smaller fall and near the Cuevas de los Cristeros, up the side of the canyon to about 1,885 m. Salto del Nogal is about 105 m high and considered the highest waterfall in Jalisco. It lies in pine country about 10 km from the centre of Tapalpa.
