Trail description
A short 0.4 km path with about 15 m of climbing from the viewpoint over the Texolo waterfall toward the smaller Cascada de la Monja. The falls lie 3 km south of Xico and about 19 km from Xalapa; the main fall is roughly 18-24 m high. A bridge spans the ravine, and the falls have been used as a film set, including for Romancing the Stone.
