Kinabalu Summit to Low's Peak

Trail description

The pre-dawn summit stage of Mount Kinabalu from near the Sayat Sayat checkpoint past Low's Gully to Low's Peak. The upper summit slabs are bare granite climbed on fixed ropes under head torches, and a licensed mountain guide is required for the climb. A cold, thin-air ascent rewarded by sunrise and vast views over Borneo.
