Trail description

This 3.1 km loop follows the Šeirė nature trail in the Plateliai landscape reserve, starting about 1.3 km from the Žemaitija National Park visitor centre in Plateliai. It passes through Šeirė forest, crosses the Gaudupis bog on a bridge and reaches Lake Piktežeris and the shore of Lake Plateliai, with stations for exploring nature by sight, smell, hearing and touch. The trail is signposted with an information board at the start, has a compacted surface, and 1.4 km of it is adapted for wheelchair users.
