Lebanon Mountain Trail Qemmamine to Kfar Bnine

Trail description

A short but very steep section of the Lebanon Mountain Trail in the Danniyeh hills, running from Qemmamine to Kfar Bebnine mostly on footpaths along forested slopes. It crosses the dramatic Wadi Jhannam gorges, with oak, juniper and brutia pine forest and one permanent spring halfway. The route is about 8 to 10 km with roughly 800 m of ascent and is rated among the hardest sections of the trail. It is remote, so expect to meet only shepherds between the two villages.
