Trail description

A short walk from the road in Balaa, between Laqlouq and Tannourine, down into the Baatara gorge, also called the Cave of the Three Bridges. Footpaths lead to viewpoints over three natural limestone bridges stacked one above the other, with the pothole dropping about 255 m below. During the spring snowmelt a 90 to 100 m waterfall pours behind the bridges into the chasm, while in summer the gorge is usually dry. The walk is well under 1 km each way and the site lies on the Lebanon Mountain Trail.
