Amata River Geological Trail

Trail description

A riverside geological trail following the Amata from Zvarte Rock past a string of sandstone cliffs and rapids. The path crosses ravines and climbs onto bluffs with views of the fast flowing river. One of the finest longer walks in Gauja National Park.
