Trail description
One of the most popular peaks for Bishkek residents seeking their first serious ascent, labeled as Dyadyuchenko Peak on some maps. From the Chunkurchak ski resort, it is about 6.5 km one way with an elevation gain of approximately 1200-1300 m. The trail passes through forests and grassy slopes toward the Chichar Pass, offering views of the Alamedin Gorge; higher up, the terrain becomes rockier with more scree. It requires a full day and experience with similar elevation gains; beginners are advised to go with a guide, as the trail branches out in the pastures. Summer is the best time to go, as snow can remain on the slopes during spring and autumn.
