Kumbel Peak ascent via Kok-Zhailau, descent via Gorelnik

Trail description
I rate the difficulty at 4 out of 5. The hardest section is the ascent to Tri Brata, where the slope reaches 58° in some places. Take breaks as soon as you feel your breathing getting heavy. Weather is very changeable and unpredictable. Sun and rain can alternate within minutes. Essential gear: trekking poles, a fleece, a raincoat, a sun hat or beanie (depending on the season), gloves (if it rains or the wind picks up, your hands will get cold even in summer!), boots with thick soles, and long pants (at least bring them with you in summer). Food/Supplies: at least 2 L of water, snacks (nuts, energy bars, chocolate, kozinak, kurt, bread and pate, fruit). I highly recommend this loop route to everyone—it is very picturesque and beautiful, with constantly changing landscapes and panoramas, and it will certainly test your strength! Good luck!
