Trail description

A 7.3 km climb of about 660 m from the Sairam-Su alpine camp up the wide valley of the Sairamsu river, crossing the Kyrgyly stream, through spruce forest and flowering alpine meadows to the Lower Sairam-Su lake in Sairam-Ugam National Park. The lake lies in a small basin near the source of the river, with the white mass of Sairamsky peak (4,238 m) rising to the southeast. The park runs the walk as its official route to the lake.
