Trail description

A back route from Little Petra across the sandstone plateau that arrives at the Monastery, Ad Deir, from above, about 7 km one way. It approaches Petra through quiet desert country rather than the main Siq. Many walkers go with a local guide and continue down the Monastery steps into the city.
