Trail description

The full traverse of the Rokko range from Sumaura Park in Kobe to Takarazuka, the course of the walk Kobe city holds every November and linked with the climber Kato Buntaro. It crosses Hatafuriyama and Yokoo-san of the Suma Alps, Takatoriyama, Kikusuiyama and Nabebutayama, then Mount Maya and the summit of Rokko before it drops past Enpeiji temple to Takarazuka. It is a very long day with many climbs; cable cars and ropeways at Maya and Rokko offer ways off the ridge.
