Trail description
A 1.8 km climb of about 285 m from the shore of Lake Kawaguchi to the top of Mount Tenjo, 1,140 m, past the upper station of the Kachi Kachi ropeway. The ropeway, opened in 1959, is named after the Kachi-kachi Yama folk tale set on this mountain. The summit area looks over the lake and the Aokigahara forest to Mount Fuji.
