Trail description
Tengudake is the highest peak of Northern Yatsugatake in Chino, with two summits about 300 m apart: Nishi-Tengu at 2,646 m and Higashi-Tengu at 2,640 m. This route climbs from the west, from the Karasawa Kosen hot spring side, through the conifer forest to the summit. Unlike the gentle wooded hills of Northern Yatsugatake, Tengu has a rugged shape closer to the southern peaks. It is one of Japan's 200 famous mountains.
