Mount Tanigawa from Tenjindaira

Trail description

From the Tenjindaira ropeway station the Tenjin ridge climbs past the Kumano Tonoyama hut to the twin summits of Mount Tanigawa, Toma-no-mimi and Oki-no-mimi (1,977 m), on the border of Gunma and Niigata. The mountain is known for sudden bad weather despite its modest height, and the ridge is exposed.
