Trail description

A 1.6 km walk with about 100 m of climbing from Terukuni park past the Kagoshima Castle ruins to the Shiroyama observatory on the 107 m hill. The deck looks over the city and Kinko Bay to Sakurajima. Shiroyama saw the last battle of the Satsuma Rebellion in 1877, and Saigo Takamori's cave is close to the path.
