Trail description

A 3.5 km climb of about 490 m to the summit of Mount Nyukasa, at about 1,950 m on the northern edge of the Akaishi Mountains (Southern Alps) in Nagano Prefecture. Although part of the Southern Alps, it lies outside the Minami Alps National Park. The summit has a view of Mount Fuji, and JAXA has an observatory near the top.
