Trail description

From Tsubame Onsen the trail climbs past the steaming Kitajigoku valley and up steep, rocky slopes with a short chained section to the summit of Mount Myoko (2,454 m), one of Japan's 100 famous mountains. It is a long, hard climb of about 1,300 m.
