Trail description

Mokotoyama, 1,000 m, is the highest point of the Kussharo caldera rim in Akan-Mashu National Park. This walk follows the Skyline promenade from the Highland Koshimizu side to the summit, which carries a first-order survey point. The top is a watershed between the Pacific and Okhotsk rivers and looks over Lake Kussharo. It is one of the Hokkaido 100 famous mountains.
