Trail description

From the Yodogawa trailhead on Yakushima the trail passes the Yodogawa hut and the Hananoego marsh and climbs past granite tors to the 1,936 m summit of Mount Miyanoura, the highest peak in Kyushu. It is a long day of about ten hours in one of the wettest places in Japan.
