Mount Kuroso from Soni Highland

Trail description

Kurosoyama, 1,037 m, rises on the border of Mie and Nara and is also called Iga Fuji. This route climbs from the Soni highland past Okame pond to Kameyama Pass and follows the ridge north over Nihonboso to the summit. The top part beyond Nihonboso is private land, where an entry fee of 500 yen is collected for upkeep. The Mie side shows walls of columnar jointed volcanic rock.
