Trail description

Kurohime, 2,053 m, is a stratovolcano in Shinano town, Nagano, called Shinano Fuji for its even shape and one of the five Hokushin peaks. This route climbs from the east on forest roads past the Oshikaike pond and then on a path to the summit, which holds a second-order survey point and a shrine to Benzaiten. The caldera holds alpine plant communities, and creeping pine grows around the outer rim.
