Trail description

From Kitazawa Pass in the Southern Alps the trail climbs through forest over Futagoyama and Komatsumine to the white granite summit of Mount Kaikoma (2,967 m) with its shrine. Private cars cannot reach the pass; buses run in season from Hirogawara on the Yamanashi side and Senryuso on the Nagano side.
