Trail description

From the Ichinosawa trailhead west of Azumino the trail follows the Ichinosawa valley up to the Jonen-goya hut on the Jonen pass, then climbs the boulder ridge to the summit of Mount Jonen (2,857 m), with a view straight across to Yarigatake and the Hotaka peaks. Most walkers stay a night at Jonen-goya, so it is a two-day trip.
