Mount Izumi Katsuragi

Trail description

Izumi Katsuragi, 858 m, stands on the border of Osaka and Wakayama, the central peak of the Izumi mountains in Kongo-Ikoma-Kisen Quasi-National Park. This route climbs from the Osaka side on tracks and paths to the summit, where two Hachidai Ryuo shrines stand. The mountain has been connected with worship since ancient times. There are toilets and parking near the top but no shop or drinking water.
