Trail description
Ishiwariyama, 1,412 m, rises on the border of Yamanakako, Oshino and Tsuru in Yamanashi. This route climbs on a dirt track and path to the summit, which looks straight at Mount Fuji with Lake Yamanaka below. At the eighth station stands the Ishiwari Shrine, whose sacred rock is split in two; walking three times clockwise through the gap is said to bring luck. It is one of the Yamanashi 100 famous mountains.
