Mount Horaiji

Trail description

Horaijisan, 695 m, is an old volcano in Shinshiro, Aichi, named after the Horaiji temple at its foot. This route follows the Tokai Nature Trail from the north to the summit. The whole mountain is a national scenic place and natural monument, with old cedars and towering rocks, and it lies in the Tenryu-Okumikawa Quasi-National Park.
